Studio Spatial Poetry is a space where architectural perception meets design intuition.
As a design studio, we practises across architecture, installations and spatial narratives. Each project explores the connection between space and experience. People are integral to the design, shaping environments that resonate with their emotions. Our focus on spatial psychology and cultural heritage enriches these interactions, fostering a dialogue that transcends boundaries. We are drawn to the flow of time, crafting designs that unfold narratives and weave their stories into the fabric of existence.
Founded in London by ARB RIBA registered architect Krystal Tsai, the studio works internationally across scales and disciplines, blending research and experimentation to create atmospheric environments.

Krystal Tsai ARB RIBA
Krystal Tsai is a Singapore-born architect, ARB and RIBA registered in the United Kingdom, with 7 years of experience at Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF) Architects, London.
Her work includes a range of scale through hospitality, cultural, and mixed-use developments, with experience in adaptive reuse, masterplanning, and institutional projects.
She is the recipient of the UCL BSBG Adaptive Technology Prize and the Women in Property Award (London), and served as juror for the 2024 BCA Student Award in Singapore. The practice has been recognised by the High Commissioner of Singapore to London for its design work.
Project experience includes the redevelopment of Bermondsey’s Biscuit Factory, residential refurbishment in London (House of Kohaku), urban studies for Covent Garden, Soho, and Chinatown, and the 2045 Campus Vision for the University of Birmingham.
She has also led spatial design work for the Singapore Tourism Board 60th anniversary in London.
Krystal graduated with distinction from The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, and has been invited to teach at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University in Japan.
